The Government of Sudan has continued their policy of genocide in Darfur for 5 years undeterred. In recent news, the International Criminal Court has issued an indictment for President al-Bashir. This indictment is the first to be initiated against a current Head of State. In response, a representative for the Government of Sudan has threatened escalating violence against Humanitarian Aid workers, the UN, and the 2.5 million refugees displaced on the border between Sudan and Chad. The time to support GI-Net’s Civilian Protection Project has become an urgent necessity.
Join us for the Drive for Darfur Road Rally and help The Whisper Campaign raise funds to help protect women and children from rape and assault. Teams of four people will race around the city collecting clues to point them to their final destination. You can sign up your team today for a $25 donation per person. After teams reach their final destination, we will enjoy an evening of food, music, and awareness from 7 p.m-9 p.m. at Immaculate Heart Of Mary’s Parish Hall. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the Road Rally and for Biggest Fundraising Team.

Invite friends and family members to contribute. 6. Meet us at Immaculate Heart of Mary at 4pm sharp to start the first leg of the race! | How to Register 2. Show up at IHM by 3:30 to pay your $25 per person registration fees. 3. Collect the items/clues you will need for the race. 4. Race off, leaving all the other teams in your dust. 5. Finish the race and meet us back at IHM for an evening of awareness, entertainment and food. |
